Can anyone who is familiar with Photobucket answer this for me please?
I have been looking through Photobucket images, saving funny ones or pictures I want to use to my album, using the HTML code to post as messages on myspace, etc.
Then like a day later, the images are gone and it says is red THIS IMAGE OF VIDEO VIOLATED OUR TERMS OF USE – IMAGE DELETED.
WHY is that? The images I was using were not pornographic or cussing or anything, they were on photobucket obviously long before I found them and saved/used them. I have been searching Photobuckets site for a ‘contact us’ for help in why they are deleting all my HARMLESS s**t.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening or have you experienced this, as well? All the comments I’m leaving on peoples Myspace pages look ridiculous now with the image deleted.
ALL of them in one day? Thats a huge coincidence. In my photobucket album, like 12 pictures were deleted.
I’m having this SAME exact problem!!! All of mine were little icons, NOTHING derogatory/racist/pornographic, etc. etc.
My Photobucket is private, so all of my direct links of images on MySpace, etc. are from my OWN Photobucket.
And all of my images were there and fine YESTERDAY…Now over 50 are gone!!! And I spent a long time yesterday going through my Photobucket and deleting duplicates, now THIS happens!
I have tried to upload the deleted items again, but I get the same stupid red & white message IMMEDIATELY!!!
(Also, I read in the Photobucket FAQ that once they delete your stuff for “violations”, they cannot restore them back. So we’ll have to, unfortunately, try and upload them again!) I have never had a problem with Photobucket, and I’ve had mine since 2004!
-Also, how are these “violations” being reported? My account is private…And anyways, none of the images violate ANYTHING! They’re just icons and some of my own person photos!!!!
Let’s hope it’s just a glitch… :/
